Information Architecture
Deliverable: Maps
Organizing information is a very important part of creating any kind of product. To create an understandable text, one needs to have the reader in mind, always. Before writing a text, it is recommended to create maps that help us to categorize hierarchically the information we are going to present. This is not so different from user-centered design and Sitemaps, right?
Map 1
This first map preceded the writing of the final text. It allowed me to establish a logical order to organize the text sections and present the product to the reader in a way that was easy to understand. The text maintained a clear structure: we applied a specific theory to each production of the participant (oral and written) and we closed with the presentation of the results and a general synthesis.

Map 2
In this second map, we can observe a more complex structure but made with the same purpose: to organize the text sections and present the product in a way anyone can understand it. We started presenting the theory, applying it in a logical order, and closing it with a final takeaway and a general synthesis.
